Location & Time

The 102nd Annual Meeting of the Lakeview Light & Power Corporation members will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Lakewood City Hall- Council Chambers, 6000 Main Street SW, Lakewood, WA 98499. The meeting is open to all members and is held to conduct corporate business, elect directors, and adopt by-law amendments.

Director Positions

There is one director position open, this position has a term of three years. Members wishing to be considered as a candidate for director should notify, by email, either the LLP Board of Directors (Lakeview Light & Power Email) or the General Manager (John M. DeVore Email), by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, 2024. Each candidate will submit a brief bio which will be mailed to all members with the second notice of the Annual meeting. This bio should be 250 words or less and include the following information: experience, education, community service, a personal statement, and a current picture to be displayed alongside your bio. There is also an optional candidate questionnaire available to help assess the interest and abilities of potential candidates.

Voting Times & Procedures

The polls will open at 6 p.m. on the day of the Annual Meeting for those wishing to cast their ballot in person. Ballots and instructions will be mailed to you on March 26, 2024. We strongly encourage you to vote via Smarthub, online, or by mail. All members that vote will be issued a $20 credit that will be applied to their bill. We encourage you to consider donating your credit to Project Help to assist families and individuals in paying their utility bills. With LLP’s 2 to 1 match, each donation will total $60. Members without an active account will automatically be credited to Project Help. The business meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you at the 102nd Annual Meeting on April 25, 2024.
