The 97th Annual Meeting of the Lakeview Light & Power Corporation members will be held Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at Lakewood City Hall, Council Chambers, 6000 Main St. SW, Lakewood, WA at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to all members and is held to conduct corporate business, elect directors and adopt by-law amendments.
There are 2 director positions open. The term is for 3 years. Members wishing to be a candidate for this position should notify the Lakeview Light & Power Board of Directors or General Manager in writing, at the Corporation office by 5 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2019. A brief bio (150 words or less) will be mailed to all members with the second notice of the Annual Meeting. The bio should include information about yourself and why you believe the members should choose you to represent them. There is also an optional candidate questionnaire available to help assess the interest and abilities of potential candidates. Voting Times & Procedures
The polls will open at 6:30 p.m. prior to the formal meeting for those wishing to cast their ballot in person. Ballots and instructions will be mailed to you by February 26th. This year we will again offer voting online and by mail. All members that vote will be issued a $10 credit that will be applied to your bill. We encourage you to check the box and donate your credit to project help. With LLP’s match, the donation will total $30. Members without an active account will be credited to Project Help. The business meeting will begin at 7:00 p.m. We encourage you to attend the 97th Annual Meeting on March 19, 2019.
