Budget Billing is a program designed to make residential customers’ monthly payments consistent throughout a 12-month billing period, leveling out seasonal highs and lows.
Budget Billing applications are closed for 2026, and will reopen May 2027.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Have current electricity service in your name for at least 12 consecutive months, with no more than three (3) late notices and no disconnections for non-payment.
- Have approval from your landlord to participate, if you rent your home.
- Start with a $0 balance.
- Sign up between May 1-31, with the first budget payment billed on the June statement.
