Thursday, June 8, LLP employees headed over to the Emergency Food Network campus to volunteer in a Repack Project event. During the repack, volunteers checked expiration dates and packed large boxes full of edible foods. Once repackaged the food wa 
s ready to go out to the 75+ Pierce County food pantries, meal sites, and shelters that EFN serves.
4,800 pounds of food were packed between seven volunteers in just a couple hours. It was a great opportunity to get out of the office and help out in the community. LLP works diligently to volunteer at least once a quarter.
